Free website and network diagnostic tools
What these tools do
Every tool on this site answers a question you would otherwise need a terminal, a command line utility, or a paid service to answer. Is the site actually down, or only down for me? Where does this shortened link really go? Which nameservers is this domain using since the transfer? When does the certificate expire? Each one runs from our servers rather than your browser, so the result reflects what the rest of the internet sees, not what your own machine has cached. Nothing requires an account, an installation, or a signup. Enter a domain, a URL, or an IP address and read the raw answer.
These tools work on a website or a URL directly. Check whether a page is reachable and how long it takes to respond, trace a redirect chain hop by hop, read the response headers a server returns, verify an SSL certificate before it expires, or expand a shortened link before you click it. Useful when something is broken and you need to narrow down which layer is at fault.
These tools look underneath a domain at the records and infrastructure behind it. Query live DNS records, read a WHOIS registration, look up the network and location behind an IP address, test whether a port is reachable, or confirm a server is serving compressed responses. Useful during a migration, after a DNS change, or when diagnosing email delivery that fails while the website works fine.
